Since my early apprenticeship in the trade, I’ve picked up on things in movies that are impressive works of wiring. Often things that don’t make sense, but that feed the spooky narrative.

How many times have you seen lighting flicker or intensify and burst in a horror movie? Or when some lights “explode” all at one or in a sequence down a hallway?

I’ve often wondered about Electricians on film sets and what they get to cook up, or the tricks to pull them off.

So.. anybody on this sub ever do this kind of work. I’d love to see some stories.
