Help, my Money Tree looks unhappy but i don’t know why
Hi there,
So we have had this money tree for 3-4 years, got it as a small one from the garden centre because the twisted stem gave the waifu joy. Over the years its done very well and we gradually increased pot size on it.
My usual caring for this plant is simulating periods of drought (3 -4 weeks until soil feels completely dry) and then a copious water. I feed rarely and it gets plenty of indirect sunlight. Its been growing around a lightbulb which helps to support it - we rarely use the light and it doesnt get hot. We are based in the UK but the window closest to it is south facing. It never had a trim (im not sure why but i guess i dont want to damage it).
Over the last months i have noticed brown tips on the leaves and after googling i decided to water it less. It didnt help and so im removing some leaves that are affected the worst.
It doesnt have pests anymore but it had some fungus gnats last year.
Should i repot it and give it some fresh soil? Currently its 1 year old ish in John ines no 2 + perlite.
Should i give it a trim? Is it trying to give us money?
Please help save my tree!
