I'm thinking about trading my Switch 2 for a Steam Deck OLED 1TB but I have a somes questions

I've had a Switch 2 with the Mario Kart pack since last year, but I don't use it much—in fact, almost never not because I think it's a bad console, but because I don't think I'm the target audience.

I own 5 physical games (3 Switch 2 games and 2 original Switch games, each with a Switch 2 update), and 3 digital indie games (Skillksong, Hades 2, and Dead Cells) along with a Pro Controller

I'd like to post an ad to try to trade it for a 1TB Steam Deck OLED, but there are a few issues :

It was submerged in water for a few minutes, but luckily it was in a Nintendo carrying case.

A few months later, it’s working normally; I can insert a game cartridge without any issues. The only thing is that the volume seems lower than usual, and the left Joy-Con started drifting, so I bought a replacement pair, but the new left Joy-Con is drifting too. Other than that, I have nothing else to report.

I was thinking of getting the console repaired at an independent repair shop and buying another pair of Joy-Cons, but I’d have to trade in my Switch 2 for a 1TB Steam Deck at a loss.

Do you think I should get it repaired even if I risk losing hundreds of euros on a potential trade-in, or should I just keep the console even if it’s just gathering dust?
