Hey everyone! This is my very first time looking into remote work, and I'd love some realistic advice from people who've been doing this for a while.

I'm a native Spanish speaker and comfortable working and reading in English. I have a laptop, good internet, and basic digital skills, but no formal degree or previous remote experience.

Since I'm based in Central America, I know some US/EU platforms won't be available to me. For a total beginner in my position, what platforms (annotation, search evaluation, moderation, microtasks) or basic skills are actually worth spending time on right now?

Any tips or reality checks for someone just getting started would be greatly appreciated!
