I have been collecting canadian coins for a while now and recently my grandfather gifted me his old stamp collection as he thought that I might enjoy it as I do with coins.

However, I usually just find my unique coins from collecting change on purchases and such. I don't really know how to collect or store stamps properly. Any tips on the matter would help lots.

I'd like to continue his collection how he had kept it, mostly consisting of first day covers like the image posted. Any tips on expanding the collection, tracking owned stamps, or any other helpful information would help lots.
