How are you handling meeting transcripts and follow-ups in Obsidian?
I’ve been trying to make meeting notes less annoying to deal with afterward.
Right now I use Otter for some online calls, which is fine for getting a transcript, but I still end up doing a lot of cleanup before anything is actually useful inside Obsidian. The part I care about most isn’t having a perfect transcript. It’s being able to find decisions later, see follow-ups clearly, and avoid the usual “wait, who said we’d do that?” problem a week later.
I came across Plaud Desktop recently and it made me realize I’m probably thinking about this the wrong way. Maybe the real question isn’t which tool has the better transcript, but what capture + processing workflow actually works once everything needs to live in Obsidian.
How are you handling this?
