Starfleet Corps of Engineers (SCE) Series, How is it?

It looks like there are a million titles in this ebook series. I like the idea that it takes place in the Star Trek universe (always a neat place to visit) without being beholden to any one established series.

How does it read?

Pale Rider or Unforgiven?

You can only choose one.

They are different kinds of westerns, telling different kinds of western stories, BUT if you had to recommend JUST ONE to someone as their FIRST western, which would you choose?

It’s been awhile since I’ve seen both but I’m inclined to go with Pale Rider.

What say you?

C64 Neuromancer Game Review

From Forgotten Worlds BlueSky account:

“A Neuromancer game on a Commodore 64 being reviewed in a British magazine certainly captures a moment in time. “

As the title asks: Do you think that the Cyberpunk genre has evolved from its early days of Console Cowboys & Razor Girl Street Samurais into a higher form of itself now in the 21C, or has it just honed and codified its tropes to a mirrored edge?

If you think that it HAS evolved, what’s your best example of that, regardless of media format?

If you want an authentic first gen broadcast cyberpunk series experience.

It’s fantastic and still holds its water 40 years later.

It’s the show Neuromancer should aspire to be.

Edit: Neuromancer is an Apple release, NOT an Amazon one. My recommendation still stands.
