After doing some research and deep diving into the episodes, I’ve figured it out.
You, the viewer, were the MIY prior to him turning into Sophia.
Think about it. You hated Jim, and then Jim ends up dead. Coincidence? I think not.
You constantly see all the characters POVs, which is physically impossible. Only a supernatural entity like the MIY could do something like that.
How many of the monsters have ever attacked you personally? Zero? Checkmate.
You’re the MIY, and I’m onto you.
*this is more plausible than at least half the theories I read daily.
