Hi Tenno!

While yesterday's late night server outage has been resolved for players, our team continues to do internal server maintenance in its wake. 

This maintenance has resulted in numerous World State Window activities (Sortie, Void Fissures, Syndicate missions, etc) doubling up. 

We are actively monitoring and fixing where necessary, such as bringing the Sortie mission requirement back down to 3. Some things we are riding out, like Void Fissures, as they don't appear to cause issues (there's just a lot of them!) 

Apologies for the confusion - we're working to get back to normal!

From now till we see what the stars have to tell us, we’ll be going dark. In other words, we’ll be putting a pause on Hotfixes until Jade Shadows: Constellations launches in June! To learn more about the Update and learn the exact release date, be sure to check out Devstream #196 on May 29th at 2pm ET!

One important note: during this downtime, iOS and Android may continue to Hotfix to tackle performance improvements exclusive to the Mobile platform!

Like always, our next Cert Update includes further code fixes. Code describes changes made directly to the engine, which requires Certification from each Console platform to pass its checks, such as ensuring an Update doesn’t crash the machine itself. 

We also need to ensure Cross Platform Play parity so all Tenno can continue to play together!

Curious about a few of the resolved issues from our Known Issues list, in addition to any other issues? We hope to resolve the following issues in our upcoming release*:

• Jade's Glory on High and Hildryn's Balefire do not damage Arctic Eximus bubbles.
• Metal tint channel inconsistencies for the following cosmetics:
  • Attachments on Marie and Roathe's Gemini Skins (metals are not on the accent tint)
  • Grand Carnus Regalia not using Suit Lining for the metal tint.
• Truth's Flame Heat Status Effect isn't negated by Status Effect Negation Abilities
• Using Last Gasp removes bleedout waypoints for players who are downed. 
• Client Sobex using Acid Shells do not benefit from bonus damage type from Cyte-09's Resupply.
• Clients sometimes not having access to their Focus abilities.
  • There are various factors here, but a known workaround for the Circuit is to not cast Focus Abilities in Teshin's Cave.

   

• Large delay when using Transference in a Hub for the first time.

 

* The bounty of issues on our Known Issues list is still a priority, but some aren’t in a state to confirm as 100% “fixed.” Additionally, we’ll continue to test the above fixes to ensure they are fully resolved on all platforms, should any outlying issues arise. 

With that said, there’s more to come outside of our hotfixes!

As we mentioned in our recent PSA, we have been able to resolve our issues and truly appreciate the community's patience as we worked on getting this feature back in your hands. Hey Tenno,

It appears that the Balor Fomorian mission is incorrectly launching a Corpus Capture mission instead of the appropriate Grineer Archwing mission. While we are working on a fix, you will be unable to complete the bonus reward of 200,000 credits and the Orokin Reactor.

We are hoping to get this resolved quickly. Thanks for your patience while this new mysterious Corpus Treasurer “Balor Fomorian” causes havoc.

UPDATE: After some investigation, the Balor Fomorian issue described above will require a hotfix. In the meantime, we have retired the event and a Razorback Armada will begin shortly in its place. Basically, Vay Hek’s Fomorian has been repossessed until it learns to behave. Once we are able to hotfix the issue (and the Armada has ended), the Balor Fomorian will return.

Hi Tenno, 

We’ve been investigating reports of certain players not having their invites delivered, often resulting in a message indicating “the user is offline” when they are clearly online. After some digging, it appears this issue stems from outdated Windows versions causing network delays. Due to the complexity of this networking issue (the variety of systems, routers, and ISPs), we are carefully working on a fix we hope to ship with Jade Constellations in June.

In the meantime, the team has identified a workaround for those in this broken state:

• Ensure your Windows version is up to date
• Log in to Warframe and navigate to System Settings 
• Select “Analyze Network”
• If it takes longer than a couple of minutes or indicates “UPnP Malfunctioning”, disable UPnP in System Settings
• Restart Warframe

Once those steps are complete, you hopefully should be able to successfully send invites!*

* There may be edge-cases that are not addressed by this workaround, so we will continue to monitor this thread if that applies to you.
