Male or Female Character is Canon in Odyssey and Valhalla ?

I ,recently, bought the season Pass for Assassin's Creed Odyssey and started a new playthrough to connect the narrative threads of the main story with the season pass lore bc I barely remembered the story at all!

I have earned the platinum in the past though. For my new journey I selected to roleplay as Kassandra because I read in a YT comment that she is actually the character that Ubisoft considers true canon and considering some other facts which I will not include here(to avoid spoilers) ,that seems to be true.

Anyway I'm enjoying my 2nd playthrough very much , so much in fact that I'm considering replaying Valhalla too, so I'll ask the same question: is the female Eivor canon or the male one ? You could also point out your opinion as to who has the best voice acting!
