Incurring new debt in chapter 13, 100 percent plan.
I filed chapter 13 bankruptcy in January. I’m wanting to start rebuilding my credit so I’m thinking about getting a small credit card to help with that. I spoke to my attorneys office this morning and I was told I do not need the trustee/courts approval to do that. She stated I only needed courts approval for secured debts like, car loans, mortgages, student loans etc. Everything I’ve read says different. Does anyone have any experience with that? Any help is appreciated.
