Hey all,

Last night (August 16th) sometime between the hours of 9pm at night and 8am this morning (August 17th), my bike was stolen from my apartment complex. It was locked up a car port support post, there is another bike missing from the same parking row as well that belongs to a neighbor, I have reason to believe it was also stolen.

My bike is a 2011 Specialized Hardrock 29er Disc, the color is "Grey Clean", it's a big bike, a XL 21" frame size. It has some customization to it. I have very easy to recognize bright neon green-yellow handlebar grips with yin-yang-esque symbols on the bar ends. It has a black rear rack I installed and a WTB saddle. It has a black and grey front fender/mud guard. There was a magnetic water bottle cage with bright yellow-green silicone straps on it. The bike has a Talbot's of San Mateo sticker on the inner part of the seat tube. It also has a Lizardskins chainstay protector. The left seat stay is missing some paint.

I don't have a lot of money and I lost my car recently, I use the bike to commute to college and get to the clinic down the street on a regular basis. If anyone sees this bike anywhere in Sonoma county or elsewhere, I would be extremely grateful if you could contact me.

I have filed a report with the local police and registered the bike as stolen on Bike Index. I will be posting this elsewhere, but I figured I would start here. I'm going to try to monitor the local pawn shops, flea markets, Craigslist, etc. Any information is appreciated more than you know.
