Tarantula Size?
At left is a Commando, same tonnage. At right is a 45-ton Antlion. How tall should I make the Tarantula? The legs stick comically far off the base no matter what.

This is like the fourth iteration of the MWO extracts I've done now for TTS. The first time I imported them, but the textures were washed out because I didn't understand baking materials. So I learned about that and did them all again, and near the end of that run I realized how to manipulate the materials to make the body/armor tint but not cockpit/weapons/greebles; so I started over again. Right as I finished up the last set of them, and started working on importing non-MWO assets, I finally figured out how to include a simple collider mesh with an asset bundle; before that if two mechs were closer than a hex apart they would typically bump into each other but I was just dealing with it.
Now each model has a collider that is a 2" tall hex the size of their base. No matter how many limbs or weapons extend outside their hex, those won't collide with other models. So here is 112 MWO mechs (2 banes) packed tightly together.
The public mod (which doesn't contain any of the books/cards that can't be downloaded from CGL) is called "Alpha Strike / Scouring Sands Terrain".
After finally finishing extracting/importing every MWO mech into Tabletop Simulator, I started on the task of importing non-MWO assets, mostly from STL/OBJs online and then texturing them in Blender. I was very happy with how the elementals turned out, especially the jump plumes!
