Just completed the game 34hrs on S2…
Really bloody enjoyed this game, a breath of fresh air to the monster catching game.
I did get slightly bored of the repetitive get to a new town, fight the “Legendary” take part in the match and then repeat til the end.
Loved catching every single Mon some brilliant designs & Lost Mons, especially with the Arceus type catching without having to battle. And the characters throughout were well liked by myself.
What I cannot get over is the constant bugs, how did the devs release it in this state? I’ve never had a game crash so many times making me repeat many things a dozen times, which I learnt near the end to continually save after every battle.
Fighting the last battle of the game just to have to do it again because the game crashed as I beat it. It’s just not acceptable.
I don’t understand how the devs themselves didn’t find the Abilities were annoying when constantly having to swap Mons over and over in dungeons. The team I wanted becoming low levelled near the end because I had to bring out one that break walls etc…
Love the last dungeon had around 20+ battles, just why? Felt they purposely dragged the last few areas for the sake of it, which just became mundane & annoying. Don’t get me started on Aeolyc Island, just explain things a little better.
Will I ever replay? Probably not. But I do look forward to whatever they do next and what can build upon this game. It has something about it, especially for just £20.
