If you could design a browser extension for SAM gov, what would it do?

Hi everyone,

I’m currently looking into the everyday headaches we experience while using the SAM gov site. I'm trying to determine if a custom browser extension could actually smooth out the workflow and save people some time.

Rather than throwing out my own ideas, I’d love to get your unfiltered thoughts. If a Chrome or Edge extension existed specifically for SAM gov, what features would actually make your life easier?

  • Are there general, site-wide annoyances you'd want to fix?
  • Which specific areas (like the opportunity search, workspace dashboard, or registration pages) cause the most friction?
  • Is there a highly repetitive, manual part of your process that an extension could automate?

Please drop your biggest pain points and absolute dream features below!

Would a browser extension for SAM gov make your life easier? What features would you actually want?

Hey everyone,

I'm doing some research into the daily friction we all run into when navigating the SAM gov site. I'm trying to figure out if a dedicated browser extension could actually make things more efficient and less painful to deal with.

I want to hear directly from people who use SAM gov regularly, without planting any specific ideas: if you could have a browser extension built specifically for the SAM gov site, what would you want it to do?

  • Are there site-wide improvements or tweaks you'd want to see?
  • Are there specific sections (like opportunity searches, the workspace dashboard, or registration pages) that drive you crazy and desperately need a fix?
  • What is the single most tedious part of your workflow that a tool could streamline or automate?

Would love to hear about your biggest pain points and what your absolute wish-list items would be!
