1 Year of GoMining – Miner Wars vs Solo Mining Experience

Hi guys,

today marks exactly 1 year since I joined GoMining.

Over the past year I’ve learned a lot about mining, BTC difficulty, maintenance fees, reinvesting and honestly also about risk management in crypto overall. What started mostly out of curiosity slowly became one of my more interesting long-term experiments.

Current setup:
- 124 TH
- ~6.2% maintenance discount
- Fully reinvesting all rewards
- Around $1.5/day currently from reinvestments alone (not taking profits as cashflow yet)

I’ve also tested both Miner Wars and Solo Mining during the year.

My personal experience so far:

Miner Wars:
- more community feeling
- fun during events
- less predictable rewards

Solo Mining:
- easier to track growth
- more consistent daily rewards
- feels better for long-term compounding

One thing I definitely underestimated:
Mining profitability depends way more on maintenance costs and BTC difficulty than most people realize.

For now I’m still fully focused on growth and reinvestment. My long-term goal is to slowly build toward 5,000 TH within the next 3 years and then eventually transition more into cashflow instead of pure compounding.

Still a long way to go, but interesting to watch the process over time.

Would be interesting to hear from others:
Are you reinvesting everything too, or already taking profits?

And if anyone is curious how I started or structured things in the beginning, feel free to ask.
