I currently have the Sony A95L and want to decide between two projectors for a dedicated movie setup in a light-controlled room. The projectors are the XGIMIHorizon 20 Max and the Valerion VisionMaster Pro 2. Main priorities are cinematic image quality, black levels, HDR impact, contrast, brightness perception, and overall immersion at around a 100” screen viewed from ~10 feet away.

For people who have actually used or compared these: which ended up looking the most impressive or “cinematic” in real-world viewing? Ultimately will they be a significant step down in picture quality compared to the tv.
