Worth getting into in 2026?

I've always been tangentially aware of Zoids. An older friend had a few when I was a kid, I remember thinking they were cool, but I was too young for them at the time. Since then I've always looked at the franchise from afar, never getting into them myself. Nowadays I do gunpla, lego, warhammer, etc. im no stranger to model kits, and I quite enjoy them. My question is, is it worth getting into foods in 2026? And if so, where do I start? I've never watched any of the anime or played any of the games. The whole reason I've even remembered they exist is because I saw kits at hobby lobby. What I will say is that my primary draw to zoids was always the existence of motorized kits, which doesn't appear to be what's available at the moment. Most model kits I build get played with for 20 minutes, posed, and put on a shelf for the rest of eternity, Zoids being able to move on their own adds a lot even to a stationary display I feel. So should I bother with the realize model kits? Is it worth going back to the old anime? Is it worth adding more to my list of unwatched anime and unbuilt models?

P.s.

I'm fully aware of what I'm doing here.

"Is it worth getting in the water?" asked the man.

"Of course!" said the man-eating murder shark that eats people.

I've come to the home of zoids fans and asked if their hobby is worth it. I know what kind of answer I'm going to get. I'm asking anyways so that either one of you will attempt to deter me from this, or I'll have a scapegoat when I bring home another dozen models I don't have the home to build. Regardless, thanks for reading, and thanks for your answers.
