Hi and apologies in advance if this thread exists. Please point me in the right direction (I couldn’t find exactly what I was looking for). Had my system installed in 2021. My Gateway failed months after the 5 year warranty ended. They are quoting me a “discounted” price of $999 to buy and install a new one. When pushed they offered me an additional $50 off but only if I ordered during the phone call with them. Honestly, feels dumb to have to spend another $1000 (esp when our coincidental demands charge makes the system absolutely not cost effective). Any suggestions on how to get a new Gateway at a reduced rate and/or strategies to deal with this? Thank you so much in advance!
