New Campaign Build Ideas Assistance
Hello all. With the release of the turn based Mod in PoE 1, I've been doing 3 runs simultaneously in a return to the game. One in Turn based, one in RTWP, and one where I swap between the two. Now that I'm nearing the end of WM2, I've decided I want to revisit PoE 2 as well and try out turn based there (I know it's not updated). j
I was thinking of doing 3 runs again, with one of them being on Turn based and the other two on RTWP. With it having been a while since I've played PoE 2, (5+ years I think), I'd like to request some assistance from the community on build ideas for my PC.
I tend to like being melee on the PC in games, either as a DPS or a tank, but I basically enjoy every class in both games. I also want to do one run as a classic good guy, one run as an evil guy, and one run as a stoic/rational neutral guy.
Right now, my build ideas are as follows. All playthroughs on POTD
Good guy Run: Battlemage with Devoted + Blood Mage with either quarterstaff proficiency or Pike. IIRC there's a really solid quarter staff in the game and summoned weapons early would be very strong as well. I do like the AoE damage pike summon as well.
Neutral Run: Mindstalker with Beguiler + Trickster. Beguiler feels like it pairs naturally with a rogue and trickster can sure up defenses on a relatively squishy class. I also feel like Cipher fits the PC the best of any of the classes RP wise.
Evil Run: Fanatic with Berserker + Bleak Walker. I feel like thematically, for an evil run this fits quite well. I'm just not sure how viable berserker is on POTD due to raw damage scaling with your level IIRC. I also don't know if a fury shaper would be better?
Any advice on better combinations, more thematic combinations, attribute spreads, itemization, abilities to take would be much appreciated.
Cheers.
