What’s one underrated thing you always keep in the car for long road trips?

I’ve been thinking about this because road trip advice usually covers the obvious stuff like snacks, water, phone charger, first-aid kit, etc. But I’m more curious about the small practical items people only start carrying after one bad experience.

For example, things that help during traffic, night driving, bad rest stops, camping-style trips, or when traveling with older family members.

What’s one item you now always keep in the car that most people don’t think about?
