I recently got Carpel Tunnel from my job (Boba Shop)
Dec 2025 someone got me severely sick I was out of work for 1 months and in and out of the ER due to the Super Flu and I also remember telling them I need to take a small breather cause my arms were starting to hurt in the forearm like really bad and locking up my hands and wrist and shoulders.
Feb 2026 to Present (April) I have been to Kaiser often telling them how I am forced to cut things in a unsafe manner (I get written up,and the company sends screen shots and videos of every infraction of you don't follow company procedure)
Bracing everyday and limiting any repetitive motion my wrist and arms would hurt and then my entire shoulder and neck started to swell at the collar bone area. So I went to get acupuncture to help with the relief and I was told by the acupuncturist that I would need surgery due to the ligaments and my nerves had 0 circulation and that the ligaments were like "Jello or Bendy like Taffy"
I was told to go get a nerve conduction study and the doctor said I have " mild carpel tunnel " but they dismissed me when I told them mild is where I wouldn't be in this office or seeing a specialist. Mild would not be me unable to grip or write, or have any interference in my day to day life. They said my Left Hand was far worse than my right (My Left hand my thumb feel like it's broken and keeps hurting anytime I put any small amount of pressure or grip)
I went back to the specialist Ortho and he gave my Right Hand a injection but didn't bother to look at my Left hand.
I got my injection 10 days ago. It worked for 5 days but nothing's changed.
I am filing for Workman's Comp with my attorney and see a QME tomorrow.
Is there any advice on how to just get any further medical anything? Clearly the injection didn't work. Acupuncture relieved and helped me a bit but, How would I properly ask
Not only my employer to pay for all my medical expenses (I'm not on SDI {keep getting denied} and I'm expected to go to OT and PT but no one wants to give me any proper documentation or work status note for my documentation and record as proof I was there.
Any advice would be great I been so stressed since Feb, and I just want my life to go back to normal.
