Hello everyone. I was placed on metoprolol ER 4 years ago just as a bp medication in conjunction with 2 other meds. My PCP suggests that I can stop taking metoprolol abruptly and continue with my amlodipine for my BP because the metoprolol is not working for my BP. I do not have an heart issues. I am going to get a same day appt with my cardiologist to see what he says. But what do y’all think?? 🤔
