The Kindness Relay
Hey everyone, I wanted to share a passion project I’ve been working on called the Kindness Relay. A while back, I went through a major health crisis and ended up needing a heart transplant (aged 28 with a toddler too. Hectic!). Surviving made me want to put some good back into the world, especially with how kind everyone had been to me during a really hard time.
With the backing of a local company, we’ve been able to launch the Kindness Relay completely for free. We send out physical cards to anyone who wants them. When someone does something kind for you, you give them a card. They can scan it, no personal details or sign-ups required, add their story to our global kindness map, and then pass the card on to the next person.
We’re based in the UK but already had check-ins in 8 different countries, including the UK, US, Australia, and Peru!
