Trying to get some information for my mom. She had a colonostomy, which ended up turning into an ileostomy, after several surgeries. She recently started to have a mucus type discharge coming from her rectum. She went to ER. They told her she has some hemorrhoids inside her rectum. CT scan came back normal. They told her to go to GI Dr. Can't see him until DECEMBER! WTH? Anyways, we Googled it and it says to go to Dr if it has a foul odor and if she has pelvic cramps. The odor is extremely foul and the cramps are unbearable. The ER Dr had no answers for her and even said he didn't know why!

Any advice or personal experiences would be extremely helpful right now! TIA!
