i’m curious what side hustles people used to do. What did your parents or grandparents do for extra income? My mother is a Court Reporter and she picked up closed captioning jobs in the evening. My grandfather got certified to do home visits for the state on weekends. My dad used to fix and flip cars in his spare time. My great grandmother would use her lunch break at the telephone company to go wait tables during the lunch rush at the restaurant down the block (they didn’t pay her money, they would box up 2 lunches to go, and it would feed her and my young grandfather for dinner). I’m interested to hear what side gigs, side hustles, and extra income work your old people used to do. Let’s here it!
