Our local dump has a warehouse/store on the property where they resell furniture and home goods that people drop off. We found this piece that we immediately brought home, but don’t know much about it. Our entire house is Art Deco and full of antiques. My husband believes it’s sort of an Egyptian Revival piece, but there’s no maker on it. Any ideas? It’s buried right now, but I got pictures of the appliqués on the front. Not sure what type of wood it is, but it’s very matte.. I don’t even bother using a wood conditioner or furniture polish on it because I’m pretty sure there’s no finish or lacquer on it.
