My results came in today.
Total: 191
Triglycerides: 50
HDL Cholesterol: 53
LDL: 132
I cannot lie, I have been messing up these past three months. I have been indulging in more take out and sweets. Before that, I ate out at least once a week along with a sweet treat so that probably didn’t help but even with that happening before my cholesterol didn’t do bad. I think it was when I became more frequent with it. I also started eating bare nuggets more often. Also would make Mac & cheese with another meal that I made at home & I couldn’t always find the low fat option so I would opt for regular cheese not sure if that weighed in a ton. I don’t make it that often but I do use 1/3 fat Philadelphia cream cheese quite often along with oil so that could be something, not sure. I don’t know the micros. I would also use top sirloin steak a bit along with parmigiano reggiano. Just naming some of the common things I use. I also use skim milk and salmon quite often.
I also walk dogs for about 50 minutes a day.
I have heard the advice to check saturated fats & track them so I’m going to start doing that but if anyone has words of encouragement or advice while I try to lower my cholesterol & lose weight. That would be appreciated. 🙂↕️❤️
