Returning Student seeking advice

I've been wanting to return to school after 4 years of being withdrawn, but Im not sure what my best options are. I didn't care as much as I wanted to the first time, having completed my AA at a CC overall smoothly with a 3.6, but having tanked my GPA to a 2.6 after going to university and failing several semesters in a row. I wasnt dedicated to my computer science major and was mostly just there because i was told that it was the best thing for me to do, so i really didnt put in the effort i needed to.

I'd like to go to school and work on getting into a genuine career, but with my history Im unsure if I should bother. I've moved states since last time and would be going to a new school as well, so I'm unsure if I could apply for any kind of academic renewal as well. I'm torn between wanting to go back to complete a bachelors since i already have an AA, or if i should just seek job training in the form of an AS at a community college. Any advice anybody has for my situation would greatly help.
