Dome tent recommendations?
I have super cheap tent from Lidl and it weights 2.2kg for ony 20 euro. It served me really good on my 30 days of hiking. But right now I am thinking to cut weight as much as possible.
I already ultralight sleeping bag and sleeping pad. The only two problems right now are my backpack from decathlon 1.2 kg and the tent. As for the backpack I have plans to make my own I want to leave it as it is.
But the tent is something I think I really have to update. Tent I have is dome tent, which I really prefer. It is for 2 people, which is also something I would like to keep. I want my tent to be roomy, not to feel like I am in a small tube without any shoulder space, or without any possibility for a hike with a friend.
So, my question would be - is there a dome tent under 1.6 (full weight with acc) and under 250 euro?
And does it even make sense to pay for a tent to lose just ~half a kilo?
I managed to hike for 30 days with 15kg backpack and was never really tired, eventhough I hiked in mountains.
I know about durstone dome 2, and I would love to have it some day, but right now it is simply out of my budget ((
