Reschedule or plan for retake? thx in advance

Non-trad applicant. cGPA ~3.4 sGPA: ~3.5 BCP: ~3.85 V strong upward trend, I have a 3.95 from my post-bacc, my undergrad is in an unrelated field. Only B is in Gen Chem 2. All semesters I was taking at least 15-19 credits at a time.

Rest of my application is fine, my greatest strength is standing out as a former high school math teacher and my community service/volunteer hours. Also have worked in dental during COVID shut downs as an assistant and insurance coordinator. Strong letters of rec and personal statement.

Scoring sub 400 on all of my booster practice tests so far. Test is Friday May 15th. Av score for my top school is 440-450. Not sure if I should reschedule this first attempt (latest I could push it would be June 29th), or go in and plan on retaking it mid-July. My main concern is applying too late, but having those extra couple of months would also allow me time to get my shadowing hours up since that's the only thing I should really work on atp (have about 80 hrs rn).

My therapist is advising that I take it now to get the anxiety about the test solved, and retake it later if I need to. I do not feel prepared and have really only spent the last week or so studying effectively imo. Made an appointment with my school's pre-health advisor for tomorrow to get an opinion, but last time her and I spoke she said that like 80% of students need to retake it and told me to keep the late April date I originally had. I pushed it out to now to have more time, but now I'm worried about submitting my applications late July/mid-August at the latest if it all goes to shit.
