My first ever panel! Well happy at this!
It’s about half the thickness of the five pieces of wood in it after I planed and rough sanded it, but it’s super flat and straight!

Reorganised my shed last week, had everything out and inspected the general state of the timber all round. It’s all good after the scare with the felt which has now been replaced with EPDM. No signs of wetting or rotting!
One thing I’ve noticed is the ceiling area is very hot with sun on it, due to the thermal properties of the rubber and it being black etc. I can feel the *heat* on the top of my head and it’s sweaty, very sweaty. But funnily I can bend my knees, come down 3-6 inches and the temperature is fine haha.
To do a mild low budget fix I’m thinking of putting up some OSB and venting the bottom end of each gap (at the back wall) to encourage airflow based on just the air being warmed up so it vents out at the front top end. Smoke already freely and pretty willingly runs up the roof boards and out the front vents. It’s an 11 degree angle so I think it’s steep enough to allow a heat rising based air movement.
I’m aware this is not proper insulation, the title is a joke lol. It doesn’t need to be proper insulation either. Would this work do you think?
