Boots not lasting a year of use
My son have been going through football cleats within a year or less, the skin around the edge of the big toe area will start to peel and later separate from the soles.
Been rotating 2 pairs to prolong but they never last. He wears the boots 3 to 4 times a week mainly on firm grass fields which periodically gets soggy as it rains often here.
In 4 years we have been through a pair of Kappa, 2 pairs of cronos, 2 pairs of puma and currently using 2 pairs of addidas
I have only been buying take down models (club) so was wondering if the higher tier will last longer? Were the initial brands made of inferior material? The pumas also did not last 12 mths, Kappa lasted 13 mths) Or is it a maintainence/fitting issue? Or is it normal to go through boots every year?
