I wanted to share my 15yr old lab Shelby! She still has the heart of a pup. She is a rescue, my sister and I found her in a parking lot at 4 weeks old. We have cared and loved her ever since. We called her Shelby because as we were driving to the vet to get her checked out after finding her, a Shelby Corvallis drove by reving its engine. She perked up and put her paws on the dashboard looking at as it drove by. That’s when we knew we had to name her Shelby! We know she is not a purebred. However, she has bird hunted like one. Shelby’s the best! lol!

Yes my husband and I cowboy beebop fans! First and fourth pic are him today he is 5. Second and third picture are when I got him at 10 weeks! He helped get me through 2020. He is my little buddy and follows me everywhere! We call my flop head because one ear never ended standing up lol!

My first bloom, year 1. I have named it my Yellow Rose of Texas! Not sure of the actual name but I live in Texas, so I figured it fits. If anyone knows the actual name please let me know. This is the first time I grew a rose so I am super happy! I’m not very good when it comes to growing flowers. So super excited that I didn’t kill this one lol! My friend bought it for me from her neighbor down the street who grows all kinds of plants and then has a mini plant sale in his front yard every Saturday. It was a tiny bud when she gifted it to me in March and was unsure of the color. I was super happy it turned out to be yellow, as I find yellow roses are the best in my opinion. They are just so different from the red ones you see everywhere. Don’t get me wrong all roses are awesome! When it blooms more I will add pictures to share! 😊
