Which MVs would you like to see? And possible ideas for them?

Hi all!

I thought about making this post more than a week ago but then I got lazy and I wanted to see what would happen with the release of Falling out of Love. Anywho, while we are waiting for some possible MVs to drop, I wanted to ask you guys what songs would you like to see a video made for?

It can be any, already released or not, one or more. Also, which do you think could be "animated" ones and which "live-action" ones (presumably featuring our boys)? Or maybe there could be a mixture of both styles in one, similar to Pyramid of Bones from The Voidz...but I feel this could be difficult to pull off.

Finally, if you are inspired, feel free to share what do you think they can be about.

I want this post to be welcoming for any ideas, we know it's not something we can guess or figure out, the only intention is to have some "fun" and let our imagination flow.

I'm going to explain my thoughts. So if you don't want to read further you can stop here.

I would love to see a MV for The Fruits of Conquest. I thought about two possible ways:

a) It can show some examples of imperialism and subsequent colonialism (some users here have already mentioned that idea for the song too), that are from the past, like the occupation of America by European countries, and other examples from the rest of the continents. Then it can evolve towards showing more modern or current ones (like what is US is doing, ironically). This could be displayed as a sequence sort of what they made for OBLIVIUS in Coachella.

But maybe that would be chaotic and it could be more structured if they go with just one example, or even a fictional one so that way it can be a better representation or people with different background can relate more to it.

b) It can focus on our desire to colonise other planets and this can be related with the space programs that are being developed for the Moon and Mars (and the current space race between the involved countries).

This also can serve as a link with the Going Shopping cover, I know it's an advert but the fact that features the planet and the astronaut could be interesting in that light I think. The funny thing is I imagined all this when the last song of the album was still Pros and Cons, but after the change to Tyrants of the Mellow Moon, it seems even more fitting (although I'm guessing it's some sort of metaphor...).

It can then lead to a hypothetical future where we have colonised let's say the Moon and we are exploiting its resources since the ones from Earth would have already been exhausted and the planet is left in misery.

I even thought it could fit both ideas a) and b), but this would probably be too much for one song...maybe it could be between the last two songs from the album? I don't know.

Regarding the style, I would say that an animated video could make more sense, or mixed with live action but as I said before this could be too ambitious.

There is more stuff I have been entertaining in my mind that could involve for example Psycho Shit or the whole album as a concept, but I don't want to bore you so I will leave it at that.

I'm curious to know your ideas or options, and also if you want to say something about my pile of nonsense. Thanks for reading!

New bio (again...)

I love his diving into Quantum Physics. But from a philosophical point of view it can also imply all of us are indeed the same, it doesn't make sense to discriminate each other as we are all part of the same collective universe. Food for thought.

(I spend too much time checking his account, but can't help myself)
