Overwhelmed by training plan options

Hey all,

I am a 29f beginner runner. I've done decent amount of endurance sports during high-school/undergrad but then took quitea break and only returned to running about 1 year ago.

Since then I've been training semi-structured (trying to build milage slowly and alternating easy runs/tempo efforts/intervals). For the past 3 months or so I've been steadily going for 50-55km volume per week. I've only done one actual race which was a 5k (21:04 min) the rest of my "PBs" if you will are from training runs (47:34 for 10k and 1:54:39 for HM).

Now I am 22 weeks out from my first marathon and looking for a proper training plan. I've been looking through Hal Higdon plans and maybe I am just delusional but the Novice plans I have been looking through seem deceptively low milage given that there is not much speedwork in there. Should I just trust the process following one of those? I am too overwhelmed with the tons of options and somehow cant gague which plan would fit to my current level to not overtrain but also not to miss out on progress cause I am undergoing it.

Appreciate any advice <3
