Hello,

I’m a Catholic man, and I’m working on a personal project of a novel about a Catholic family battling Demonic Possession.

I’m looking to understand the Church’s teachings deeper, so my depiction of it isn’t super “Hollywood” and is more grounded. Of course, all good stories deserve embellishments, but I want to make sure it isn’t super tacky.

Are there any good videos that explain what it is REALLY like? Or any good people to watch speak? There is a priest named Father Dan Reehil, but I don’t know how trustworthy he is as a source.

Also, I actually know who the exorcist is for a neighboring parish. Would it be wrong for me to ask to sit down with him and talk about it?
