I feel invisible

I work with a terminally ill boy in a wheelchair. Most of my co-workers don't even acknowledge my existence they all have a group chat that I'm not a part of... some teachers included. I have to help him use the restroom, write, and open doors for him all day. When he is not at school, I noticed a considerable positive change in my mental health.

The only reason why I have stayed is because of the rapport I have with my kiddo. I love this kid, he's the most intelligent funniest person I've ever met at his age. I keep telling myself that this is better than retail.
