Been trying to get into chess books properly and kept hitting the same wall so I built an free website to practice chess notation chessnotate.com
Three drills right now:
- Square ID: shows you a square name, you tap it on the board as fast as you can
- Notation Write: shows a move on the board, you write the SAN
- PGN Walkthrough: step through famous games move by move
Still early days but I would genuinely love to know what's missing. Brutal feedback welcome.
