Nothing too exciting but it was a fun first search. Based on this sub's recommendation I ordered a Minelab Vanquish 440 as my first metal detector. Got it all set up and started searching in my yard. Our house was built in the 1920s. First find was a big section of pipe and then I found a 1975 penny. Going to keep searching and hope for some old 90% silver dimes or quarters! Thanks for the suggestion.
