The Next Democrat Administration Should Retroactively Illegitimize Trump
If we really wanna play hardball and meet Republicans on their level, the next administration should endeavour to illegitimize Trump's presidency just as they are attempting now by conspiring to overturn the results of the 2020 election through their contemptuous fraud investigations. A democrat goverment should complete the unfinished investigation into Trump's involvement in the January 6th insurrection and the surrounding conspiracies to subvert the democratic process and establish his guilt and thus the illegitimacy of his administration under the 14th Amendment. His pardons should be annulled and his executive immunity revoked. This would be fair play! This is what the Republicans have been openly attempting by launching a politically motivated investigation into the fictitious use of an 'auto-pen' and an ongoing investigation into the results of the 2020 election. If the 'Originalists' on the Supreme Court have an issue with this, an ethics committee should be established to investigate and 'appropriately' prosecute sitting members for failing to recuse themselves from cases where they'd received gifts or favors that would create the appearance of bias. Regretfully, this is no longer a 'novel' theory; this is lawfare under MAGA.
