LPT You can still dial 911 for someone outside your city/state
If you need to call for emergency help for someone not near you, you can still call 911. Start off the call with "I'm calling for emergency services for someone in city/county, state" I was states away from a parent who I identified as suffering a stroke. I called 911, said I'm calling for someone with a stroke in their county, in their state and was immediately redirected to their 911 center. I gave their address to the local 911 center and they received help immediately. You do not need to google the local number for emergency services for their local region. Just call 911, they'll sort it out for you.
