I really enjoyed the way the world was presented. The ambiguity added to the world and def left me feeling like this was not a place I’d ever want to visit. Very philosophical and pretty damn bleak.

So after seeing this on so many lists, I had to check it out myself. However, after reading Rebecca and Hitchhiker’s Guide, this one just didn’t hit. I see the appeal if you’re into adventure books, but this wasn’t for me. Not much in the way of character development, like watching an episode of a cartoon about a video game. Also, NO PAYOFF! So many plots left unfinished…

Adventure Time meets The Hunger Games with characters written by Douglas Adams.
