Anyone who has played through the Katana Gen 2/3 Head or the Orange Super Crush 100 please let me know your experience and what kind of music you play (and if you've played both how do they compare?)
For context I play in a band that blends elements of grunge, post-hardcore and midwest emo, best way I could describe it is Smashing Pumpkins meets Modern Baseball. I run through a Boss OD-3 which I use as a boost, Keeley Moon fuzz, and an MXR Carbon Copy. Have been using a bandmate's Vox AC15 for an amp but he's decided to get rid of it due to persistent power tube issues
Open to other recommendations but I'm not interested in combo amps, and pretty firm on going solid state. Also worth noting that I live in an area where there really isn't a good market for used gear
