I have computer science in UCC as my top option for my CAO for 2026, generally how much maths are involved in the course, I reckon I got a h4 in HL maths in the leaving, which is above the requirements but overall how difficult are the maths and is it a struggle and like how overall difficult is the course? coding is definitely my strong suit and i did computer science for the leaving also.

also how coding heavy is the course, like how would you describe the theory vs. practical split and how much actual coding practice does this course involve, will I have to do side projects myself to develop my coding?

im also considering BIS as another option but how actually coding focused is the course or is it moreso business sided?
