I applied for a job a few weeks ago and hadn't heard anything back yet. But then I received an email from their hiring team today apologizing for the length of time they're taking given the number of applicants. It was personally addressed and obviously written by a human. I don't think I've ever gotten an email like that in my life and I'm in my 50s. Has to be a positive sign, right?
