job help
Hey guys!!! i’m still pretty new to the job market since the last job i had, i held for a pretty long time and got it through a connection with my friend. However i quit a while back and im now applying for new jobs! its just part time because I am still in school. Anyways i had an interview about 3-4 weeks ago now. Soon after my interview maybe like 3-4 days i got the email about tax questionnaires i had to fill out in which i did (didn’t do all of this for my old job) then after 2-3 days i received an email to fill out my background screening. The background check cleared in about 2 days. It was really quick so that was all good. however it’s been two weeks since it cleared and i’ve heard nothing. Obviously i reached out and asked and the hiring manager said she would try to get me in sometime this week and to look out for any messages. however it’s been a week and ive received nothing. Am i just being impatient or should i reach out again? Or maybe give it another week? I feel like the process is taking unnecessarily long and it’s making me quite anxious. I need the income since like yesterday so i’m not sure. I don’t wanna seem too needy and mess up my chances but i really need to start soon
