Hey everyone, I'm planning to apply to medical school this cycle and ideally want to go the MD route. My sGPA is a 2.99 and cGPA is a 3.36. I do have an upward trend, strongest during my senior year with all A/A- grades. I scored a 515 on my MCAT, have ~1000 hours of clinical experience, multiple leadership roles in undergrad and about 200 volunteer hours. I have some research experience but very minimal. I'm a NY resident and URM if that adds anything.

I am planning to apply very broadly/strategically but also just want to be realistic with myself since I haven't done a post-bacc or SMP. Does it make sense to apply MD this cycle or should I take some upper level science courses first, then apply next cycle? Any advice helps!
