Osteochondral allograft

Curious for those that have had an osteochondral allograft transplant, how long did it take to find a graft from the time surgeon sent the order?

Fall post acl reconstruction

I had ACL reconstruction with quad graft and LET procedure done 9 weeks ago. I’ve been doing quite well, got flexion back to 129 degrees and walking well without crutches, just some soreness. However a couple of hours ago I slipped down my basement stairs causing my bad knee to get sort of bent back behind me. I tried to brace myself so not sure if I twisted or not. Had immediate pain and now still quite a bit of throbbing pain and more swelling. Has anyone retore their graft relatively soon after surgery and if so, what did it feel like? I’m really hoping I just pulled some already sore and tight muscles/tendons and nothing worse.

Osteochondral Allograft Transplant

I guess I’m just looking for some individual experiences in terms of short and long term recovery after an OCA procedure of the knee. Including how you managed non weight bearing and how long until you were off crutches, How long you were off work, etc. Id appreciate it as it’s much more difficult to find people who have experienced this procedure than the ACL reconstruction.

Some background: I had a traumatic rupture of ACL late April of this year and ACL reconstruction with quad graft and LET procedure on my right knee May 26. During this surgery, my surgeon found a 2cm x 2cm grade 4 osteochondral defect on my right lateral femoral condyle. I am now planning for Osteochondral allograft of this lesion in 2-3 months. I work as a pediatrician in a busy clinic so my job requires me to walk short distances room to room seeing 25-30 patients daily; having to sit and stand for exams in the rooms.
