Just finished Seasons of Blossom and I’m emotionally wrecked

I just finished Seasons of Blossom and I genuinely don’t know how to move on from this 😭 I went in expecting a typical school romance but it ended up hitting way deeper than I thought. The way everything comes together in the later parts honestly broke me.

Has anyone else read it? I feel like I need something to emotionally recover now.

High school feels way more intense than it probably should be sometimes

Sometimes I wonder if high school would feel less exhausting if everything didn’t feel so permanent all the time like one bad grade feels like your future is ruined, one rejection feels like everyone else is ahead of you, and somehow we’re all expected to have our lives figured out at 16–17 while surviving on sleep deprivation and stress.

And to make it worse, adults keep saying “it gets worse” like thanks that’s exactly what I needed to hear while I’m already trying to survive this part.

I tried using the Pomodoro Technique but I keep getting distracted halfway. I start strong then suddenly I’m on my phone or thinking about random stuff. I’ve tried putting my phone away and shortening sessions to 15 mins which helps a bit but still not consistent. How do you guys actually stay focused during it?
